Design conversation
Before the design is locked, Gregg will look at the plans and flag anything that will be a problem: undersized waste on a freestanding bath, a shower fall that will not drain, a wall too shallow for a concealed cistern.

First-fix
Waste and water rough-in to the exact point the fittings need. Falls checked twice. Concealed cistern set correctly. Anything hidden is done to a standard that will hold for 20 years.

Tiler and cabinetmaker
Gregg works in with the tiler and cabinetmaker to make sure the fittings go through the tile and cabinet cleanly.

Second-fix
All fittings on. Silicone lines clean. Tapware pressure tested. Toilets set with a proper connection, not a flexi at the last minute.

Can you work with our bathroom renovator?+

What is the most common bathroom plumbing mistake you see?+
Undersized waste on a freestanding bath. A 220-litre bath emptying through a 40mm waste is a slow, gurgling drain. Sized correctly it drains in a couple of minutes. Small thing on the plans, big thing in use.
Do you do the kitchen plumbing too?+
Yes. Sink, dishwasher, gas cooktop and any water filter. Kitchen photos will be a separate page once Gregg has a portfolio of kitchen jobs to show.
How long does bathroom renovation plumbing take?+
First-fix usually one to two days, depending on how much is being moved. Second-fix another day. If the plumbing is the only trade on site, a small bathroom is a week; a bigger one with more moving parts is two to three weeks.
